When to Prune Trees in PEI for Ground-Accessible Work

Plan lower-branch and access trimming in PEI while recognizing when a qualified arborist or utility provider is needed.

For Dave’s Tree Care, pruning means ground-accessible trimming only: lower branches and growth that can be safely reached from the ground in open areas. Every request still needs a site review before Dave confirms whether the work fits.

Good candidates include trail sightlines, access routes, and low growth that affects how you move through a woodlot or open part of a property. Dave does not prune near houses, decks, roofs, other buildings, or power lines.

Projects involving climbing, aerial work, high-canopy pruning, structural hazards, hanging limbs, leaning trees, or utility-line clearance should be directed to an appropriately qualified arborist or utility provider.
